Rewards & points cards · Prototype hub

Rewards & points cards that actually earn something useful.

This sub-hub on Choose.Creditcard looks at cards that give you something back on every purchase: points, miles or cashback. The focus is on earn rates, caps and redemption value – not hype. Everything here is a prototype and educational only.

When this type of card makes sense

  • You pay most of your spending by card and clear the balance in full every month.
  • You have a few clear goals: flights, hotel nights, statement credits or cashback.
  • You are willing to learn the basics of points, categories and redemption rules.
  • You value transparent earn structures over vague “up to X points” marketing.

This page does not recommend any real products yet. Card names, earn rates and perks below are placeholders. Always check the issuer’s own documentation before applying.

Typical rewards profiles (prototype)

In a later phase, these profiles will link to country-specific card picks that fit each pattern. For now they simply illustrate how this hub might be structured.

These links go to other microsites in The CreditCard Collection. They cover how rewards work, how to think about points vs. cashback, and how to compare offers. All are independent, prototype educational pages – not issuer marketing.

CompareCC.Creditcard

Comparison format prototype used across the network. This rewards hub will eventually plug into similar tables, but with real earn-rate data.

Structural reference · not a best-card list.

Example: Points vs. cashback guide

Placeholder for a future Choose.Creditcard guide that explains when flexible points, airline miles or raw cashback usually make the most sense.

To be replaced with a real, documented article.

Example: Rewards card table (US/EU)

Reserved for a future, country-specific rewards card comparison table, once issuer data and compliance are in place.

Prototype / educational placeholder only.

How this rewards hub fits into Choose.Creditcard

1. Themed sub-hub

This page is a Rewards & Points sub-hub under Choose.Creditcard. It narrows the comparison to earn structures and redemption, while the main /index page keeps a broader overview.

2. Shared scoring model

When real cards are added, they will be scored using the same documentation-based model as the main hub: earn rates, caps, volatility risk (devaluations) and real-world redemption value.

3. Clear separation from issuers

No bank or issuer has paid to appear here. Future affiliate links, if any, will be clearly labeled and will not change how cards are scored or ordered.
